Jeanne is Partner of Future Workplace, (www.futureworkplace.com) a consulting firm dedicated to assisting organizations in re-thinking, re-imagining and re-inventing the workplace. Jeanne is the receipt of the Distinguished Contribution in Workplace Learning Award by the Association For Talent Development. (ATD)This award is given to one executive each year honoring their contribution and body of work in the field of workplace learning. Jeanne’s name is synonymous with the establishment and institutionalization of global corporate universities. Jeanne is the author of three books, Corporate Quality Universities and Corporate Universities. Jeanne’s latest book is, The 2020 Workplace: How Innovative Companies Attract, Develop & Keep Tomorrow’s Employees Today (Harper Collins,) is in its 12th printing.
The 2020 Workplace book has been recognized as one of the top 30 business books for 2010 by Soundview, is on bestseller list for 800 CEOREAD and is the 2011 winner of the Bellwether Award by Community College Futures Assembly, recognizing an innovative body of work that will lead community colleges into the future. The 2020 Workplace has also won the Axiom Business Book Award in Bronze category For Best Business Book For Human Resource professionals.
Jeanne is also on the Board of Advisors for Human Resource Planning Society (HRPS) as well as the Kronos Board of Advisors for their Workforce Institute. Bizzabo lists Jeanne on the Top 25 Most Engaging Speakers in HR for 2014.
Jeanne and her firm, Future Workplace launched the 2020 Workplace Network, a consortium of 50 organizations who convene twice a year to discuss debate and share “next” practices on preparing for the 2020 workplace. Future Workplace also offers a range of one-site workshops targeted to developing a new set of skills to thrive in the 2020 workplace, namely, Prepare Now for 2020 Workplace, The Leader In 2020 and Think Globally, Succeed Globally. Future Workplace has worked with the following organizations over the past year include: American Express, Disney, General Electric, QVC, Turner Broadcasting Systems, US Department of Interior, US Office Of Personnel Management, WW Grainger, to name a few of the recent engagements.
Jeanne’s books have been translated into Spanish, Portuguese and Chinese. In addition, Jeanne has written articles in such publications as AACSB, Association of Business Schools, Chronicle of Higher Education, CLO Magazine, Financial Times, Fast Company, Harvard Business Review, Harvard Management Update, HR Executive, Journal of Business Strategy, TRAINING, T&D Magazine, Outlook, a publication of Accenture, People & Strategy Journal and Workforce Management. Her article Mentoring Millennials in Harvard Business Review was an extension of the concepts in The 2020 Workplace book. Jeanne has also written a chapter in the Harvard Business Review publication entitled, Guide To Getting The Mentoring You Need, focusing on the growth of mentoring and reverse mentoring among organizations.

Jeanne is a guest columnist and a member of the Executive Board for CLO Magazine. Jeanne lives in New York City with her husband, and daughter, who is her “case study” on what Millennials require from employers. Jeanne is an avid cook and is on the board of directors of the Mahaiwe Center for Performing Arts in Great Barrington, MA as well as a volunteer for Columbia County Land Conservancy advocating to conserve farmland, forests, wildlife habitat and the rural character of Columbia County, New York.
